Dr. Rick Hoaglin grew up all over the U.S. as the son of a NFL player and coach. Moving nearly 20 times during his youth
allowed him to develop a love for the diversity of the United States.
Dr. Hoaglin is a graduate of Cornell University where he was a member of the 1990 Ivy League Champion Football team.
Following graduation in 1993, he worked for Athletes in Action, a Christian ministry that serves to meet the spiritual needs
of college and professional athletes. He was based in Boston, MA and worked with athletes from Boston College, Brown
University and the New England Patriots.
In 1995, Dr. Hoaglin decided to return to the academic world, and received a M.S. in Exercise Physiology from the
University of Montana in 1997.
